Mygas named GCPS director of secondary instruction

Gloucester High School principal Dr. Stefan Mygas was named the new director of secondary instruction for Gloucester County Public Schools, and Ade Brayboy will take over as interim principal of GHS. Brayboy previously was interim principal at Page Middle School.
Those were just two of the personnel appointments made by the Gloucester County School Board at its July 8 meeting in the T.C. Walker Education Center auditorium. Other appointments included:
Kathleen Wright of Hayes was named to an administrative associate position at Bethel Elementary School, effective July 1; Melissa Brooks of Newport News was named to a sixth grade math teaching position at Peasley Middle School, effective Aug. 11; Lori Drake of Gloucester was named to a first grade teaching position at Botetourt Elementary School, effective Aug. 11; Madison Dun of Poquoson was named to a school social worker position for the special education department, effective July 1; Erinda Hagewood of Poquoson was named to a school ...
