Tickets are available for the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society’s eighth annual Mutt Strut on the Catwalk fashion show and luncheon, which will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Abingdon Ruritan Club, Bena. All proceeds from the event support shelter animals awaiting adoption.

This year’s show, titled "The Wizard of Pawz," celebrates 101 years of the GMHS, and happens to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the making of "The Wizard of Oz."

Sponsorships are available ranging from $550 to $5,000.

In conjunction with the event, raffle tickets are being sold for several prizes, including the Redskins/Chicago Bears game at FedEx Field on Oct. 20, a sunrise balloon ride and an overnight stay at the Inn at Willow Grove in Orange.
