Music on Maple will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at the Thomas James Store on Maple Avenue in Mathews. The concert will feature music by Jonathan Brown and “Me and My Muse.” There will be a food truck and libations. Concert series’ “Roadies” sponsors include, from left, Bobbi Hatton, Hunt Thompson, Reed Lawson and (not pictured) Paul Hatton. The series is co-hosted by the Mathews County Historical Society and the Mathews Visitor and Information Center. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased at the Visitor Center, 239 Main Street, Mathews.
