The Mathews Historical Museum will begin a monthly Movie Night at 6 p.m. next Friday, Jan 13, at the museum, located at 200 Main Street. There is no charge.

A release from museum events chair Sandy Warhol said the first meeting will be an organizational session, “where the public is welcome to offer suggestions and recommendations for future monthly shows.”

She said the museum’s Movie Committee will seek input in a number of ways: suggestions for “oldies but goodies,” local residents who have videos they might wish to share, and historical movies relevant to Mathews County and the immediate area.
