The Mathews Historical Museum, located at 200 Main Street in Mathews, will open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13 for Valentine’s Day specials. These include baked goods sold by members of the Mathews Woman’s Club, handmade chocolates, and sales of gently used items and freshly-picked pussy willows.

A new item is a “Mathews mug” bearing a sketch of the “Nothing We Can’t Handle” theme of the USS Mathews, AKA96, imprinted on one side, and the museum logo on the other.
