The popular singing trio The Mullins Sisters will headline Saturday’s show for Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry at Mathews High School’s Harry M. Ward Auditorium. Doors open at 7:30p.m. and the show begins at 8 o’clock.
The Mullins Sisters—Deanna, Betty and Mary—have been a part of the Li’l Ole Opry family for more than 30 years. “With their deep musical roots from the Appalachian mountains of Virginia, these ladies can lay down some harmonies like only family can,” a release stated.
As always, the Opry band and singers will perform in the first half of the show, performing country hits made famous by the likes of Brooks and Dunn, Merle Haggard, Blake Shelton and others.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. They can be purchased in advance at the Mathews Visitor and Information Center in Mathews and at Marketplace Antiques in Gloucester. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on show night starting at 7.
