The Gloucester Main Street Preservation Trust has announced the 2022 recipients of its Façade Enhancement and Interior Improvement Grants.Businesses that received grants in this funding cycle were Sweet Tooth Café, Gloucester Brewing Company, Kelsick Specialty Market, Goodman’s Interiors and Antiques, Baxter Building, and Direct Access Internal Medicine.

The grants provide matching funding for business owners to use for building enhancement projects. The Façade Enhancement Grant matches up to $20,000 for eligible projects such as painting, siding, brick maintenance and other exterior improvements. For interior improvements, businesses can use up to $10,000 in matching funds to be used for plumbing andsafety upgrades and other interior projects.
