MSG Acoustic Blues Trio will perform from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at Arts on Main in Gloucester. There will also be a pre-concert dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Resa Gibbs (vocals and percussion), Jackie Merritt (harmonica, guitar and bones) and Miles Spicer (guitar) have been together for nearly 16 years and have produced four CDs.

The group’s latest effort, “The Flood,” received a first-round Grammy nomination under the category of Best Traditional Blues Album. Regionally, Veer Magazine nominated MSG in the categories of Best Blues CD and Band of the Year.

The trio has performed at the 2015 Chicago Blues Festival, the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, the Kennedy Center, and the Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion Music Festival. They have also played and taught at the Folk Project Weekend in New Jersey.

Tickets are $20 for the concert in advance or $25 at the door. The dinner is an additional $20, with reservations required.
