Movie Night

A standing-room-only crowd visited the Mathews Historical Museum Friday for a Movie Night showing of “Mathews County: Happy Homes and Fertile Farms on Smiling Waters,” a 1999 documentary by Eugene C. Hudgins. The movie was introduced by the movie maker’s son, Coles Hudgins (right) shown with movie night chairman Tom Robinson. A museum spokesman said a second viewing date will be announced for those who could not be accommodated Friday night.
