Mathews County’s Extension Agent Rachel Morris was the guest speaker at the April meeting of the Mathews County Woman’s Club.

Morris, whose duties include an emphasis on 4-H Positive Youth Development, said the favorite part of her job is in-school environmental education and day camps.

In other woman’s club news, members will sell special baked goods and breads at the Mathews Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of the month throughout the year.

Also, the club will hold a yard sale on Saturday, May 22, on the adjoining field at the clubhouse at 1947 New Point Comfort Highway. Spaces are $10 for anyone in the county will be available.
