A funeral service for Morris Green of Ordinary, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in First Baptist Church, Ordinary, Va. He passed on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016.

He was a native of Gloucester, member of First Baptist Church, and a retiree of Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Velma; children, Morris Sherwin Green of Bowie, Md., and Donna Osborne of Yorktown, Va.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Green of Gloucester, and brother-in-law, the Rev. James Davis of Newark, Del.

Mr. Green will lie in state from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Gloucester Fields Cemetery, Hayes, Va.
