Morgan takes over as Gloucester registrar

The Gloucester Electoral Board recently announced it has appointed Bobbi Morgan as Gloucester’s general registrar. Morgan has replaced Carole Gates, who retired on Jan. 1 after serving in the position for 25 years.

Morgan, who has worked with the registrar’s office for the past seven years, has served as deputy registrar for the past six years. She is a native of New Jersey and has resided in northern Gloucester for 14 years with her two sons and one daughter.

Morgan will continue to direct an office with one full time employee and part time staff as required by the workload.

Charlotte Matney will replace Morgan as deputy registrar and Linda Harvey will fill Matney’s part-time position as assistant registrar.
