Morgan and Edwards Real Estate in Mathews celebrated its 20th anniversary on Saturday at the Main Street office it has occupied since the beginning.

Broker Debbie Morgan said the company opened April 1, 2003. She and Neal Edwards established the company, and their spouses Barry Morgan and Renee Edwards, now the associate broker, were among the original faces in the firm.

“We are one of only a few companies in the region who belong to three MLS systems giving us advertising coverage throughout the Middle Peninsula, Northern Neck, Central and Northern Virginia as well as Hampton Roads and Eastern North Carolina,” Debbie Morgan said.

“We recently expanded by opening Morgan and Edwards Realty Referral, LLC, employing agents who want to make extra income but are retired or work full-time in another industry,” she added.
