Morgan and Edwards Real Estate has started a new venture, Morgan and Edwards Realty Referral Company LLC to assist Real Estate license holders who may not want to be actively working right now, but would prefer to continue to refer business and be able to collect a commission.

“Until now in our region, many have not had the opportunity to take advantage of this type of business referral system because few agencies in the state now offer this service,” said Broker Deborah Morgan.

Working on referral while not being an active licensee who lists and sells, she explained, has the advantage of being able to work another job, go on hiatus, or retire, all the while continuing to collect real estate commissions.

“One of the largest benefits of this system is there are no errors and omissions insurance premiums required for the referring agent and no Multiple Listing Service fees … real estate boards or state association or National Association of Realtors’ dues,” she said.
