More views from Garden Week

The only stop in the Gloucester-Mathews Garden Week Tour not located on Williams Wharf Road was Samarkand (above). Built in 1927 by J. Edwin Treakle, the three-story home sits along the East River, north of the other tour locations. Below left, Renee Bains stands on the Riverlawn side porch waiting for the next tour group to come through. Below right, Leah Sutton, at left, and Meredith Holaday welcome guests to the Cottage at Riverlawn.
