A funeral for Montrue Lee Berry, 96, of Tuckahoe, N.Y., will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Shiloh Baptist Church in Tuckahoe. She died May 27, 2014.

Mrs. Berry was born in Mathews County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fielding and Selena Armistead Jarvis; seven siblings, Alma Foster, Elsie Jarvis, Wilburt Jarvis, Edward Jarvis, Susie Brown, Charles Albert Jarvis, and Pauline Jarvis, and her husband, Ernest L. Berry.

She attended the Normal School in Norfolk and Westville School in Miles.

Interment will be at a later date in Poplar Wood Cemetery in Cardinal.
