Montessori opens doors

Gloucester Montessori School children returned to school on Sept. 8. The school, which serves children ages 16 months through sixth grade, currently has 38 students and is still accepting enrollments. Program Director Patricia Landau surveyed parents and detailed a lengthy COVID-19 readiness plan prior to opening doors to children. The school was challenged to create a safe learning environment that still adheres to the Montessori philosophy that is enveloped in sharing materials and ideas. Pupil Rose Allen worked on developing her fine motor skills.
