On Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, Molly Andrews Painter went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was 58 years old, born in Dinwiddie County and lived in Mathews County for the last 25 years. 

Anyone and everyone who knew Molly could not help but love her. She was a warm, shining light in this world. Molly loved her family, friends, church and, most of all, the Lord. She practically grew up on a horse and was passionate about pets, music and life. Molly was a CPA and worked for Dehnert, Clarke & Company for 19 years and thought of the company as family. She was a member at Spring Hill Baptist Church, her family in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Louis G. Andrews.

She is survived by her husband Gary; her daughter, Mary Hudgins (Joseph); grandchildren, Aaron, Dylan and Paisley; her father, John Andrews, and her mother Marjorie Strieter.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 1676 Buckley Hall Road, Cobbs Creek, Va. 23035 on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at 2 p.m. 

The family requests any donations to be made to Spring Hill Baptist Building Fund or to Samaritan Village Orphanage, P.O. Box 444, Yuba City, Calif. 95992-0444. This is an organization she visited in Africa that was dear to her heart.
