Model UN

Page and Peasley middle school students competed in a Model United Nations conference at the College of William and Mary on March 3-5. While playing their roles as ambassadors, students became delegates who make speeches, prepare draft resolutions, negotiate with allies and adversaries, resolve conflicts and navigate the Model UN conference rules of procedure—all in the interest of fostering cooperation to solve global problems. Gloucester students competed against more than 600 students coming from 29 schools around the country. Pictured are Gloucester students, front row from left, Lacey Bridwell, Cassie Wilson, Kyler Hunter, Josiah Minor, Boaz Ramos, Kyleigh Heath; back row, Jackson Wilson, Gavin Hemphill, Conner White, Elijah Holt, Skyler Seidel and John Bushek.
