John G. Koedel Jr. of the Rappahannock River Railroaders presents Dot Hummel of Lanexa with this year’s lucky winner of the Lionel Polar Express train set. The club, which promotes the pleasure of model railroading, invites model train enthusiasts, both young and old, to its Saturday, Dec. 5 open house, a holiday festival of trains, at 83 Ball Park Road, Deltaville. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be seven trains running three layouts. All COVID-19 guidelines will be observed.
