Mobjack Motors LLC opened recently on Route 14 at North. It is located in the former R.C. Jones general store and Texaco service station, which had been closed for many years.

Collin Holliday of Cardinal is the owner/operator of the used car dealership and repair shop. He began buying cars a couple of weeks ago, largely from dealer auctions, and plans to eventually have an inventory of around a dozen cars at a time.

Since he has found that there’s a market for people buying first cars for their children, he said he tries to keep his cars affordable, in the $3,000 to $7,000 price range. Holliday said he searches for reliable vehicles and prefers to deal with brands he knows well, such as Honda, Toyota, Plymouth, Chrysler and others.
