Mixed media sculpture workshop offered at Arts on Main

Robyn Raines will offer a mixed media sculpture workshop from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, at Arts on Main, 6580 Main Street, Gloucester.

Participants are asked to bring 10 objects that can fit into a backpack. Using those objects, plus provided ‘treasures,’ students will spend the day creating sculpture.

Concepts such as connections, texture, focal points, stability, longevity, and other elements involved in developing mixed media sculpture will be explored. Students will learn new brainstorming techniques as well as the information and skills needed to create sculpture using a variety of materials.

The cost is $25 per student.
