Mites fall to Titans in OT

The Mites fell in overtime in youth football to the Deer Park Titans, 12-6.

Coach Damion Broughman named Leo Collier the game’s MVP who led the offense with 59 yards. Broughman said the defense was led by Hunter Banks and Xavier Broughman who recorded eight tackles each. Banks also scored the team’s lone touchdown.

The Mini Mites also fell to Deer Park, 22-0. Coach William Broughman named Donnie Wolford the offensive MVP and Colton Belvin the Defensive MVP.

Cheerleaders

Minis’ cheerleader Emmie Bogguess was awarded Most Spirited and Skylar Smith earned Best Technique.

Mites’ cheerleader Riley Hodges was named Most Spirited while Laici Willett was given Best Technique.

Mighty Mite’s cheerleader Madilynn Meadows was awarded Most Spirited and Ariel Forrest earned Best Technique.

Midgets’ cheerleader Emma Specht was named Most Spirited and Aniya Sidney earned Best Technique.
