Mission trip

Members from Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester, joined a Partners in Development mission team that traveled to Guatemala the week of March 8 to provide medical care, medication, counseling and to distribute water filters. Medical clinics were held in Xojola and Ixtacapa. Many patients were treated and several water filters were handed out. Health kits, toothbrushes and toothpaste and glasses were given to patients. In addition, several computers and monitors were installed in the school in Ixtacapa. This is an annual trip; plans for next year’s trip will begin in the fall.
