MILLARD C. CARLTON JR.

Millard C. Carlton Jr. (Connie), 88, died on Feb. 23, 2021 at his home in Adner, Va. Survived by his wife, Frances H. Carlton; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Joseph Lenderman, and grandson, William Carlton Lenderman.

He was preceded in death by parents, Millard and Ruth Fetterolf Carlton, and brother, Clyde Carlton.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked at Chesapeake Corp., West Point, Va. for 42 years. After retiring, he helped Charles Rich farm for 15 years. He loved his family, farming, bird hunting, and fishing.

He was a member of Forest Chapel UMC where he served in many capacities.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda. Interment was at Forest Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family received friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 25 at the funeral home. Please be advised that current state-mandated guidelines applied to all in attendance, including social distancing and appropriate face coverings.
