Mildred E. Hall Coates, of Hayes, passed away Feb. 17, 2018 at Walter Reed Convalescent Center.

She was a daughter of William Frank and Virginia Hall, who preceded her in death. Mildred was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Samuel Coates, and brothers, Thomas Linwood Hall, Frank Hall Jr. and William Howard Hall.

She is survived by her sister, Irene H. Greene, and many special nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service officiated by the Rev. Thomas Bunting was at 12 noon Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at Gloucester Point Cemetery. The family received friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 11-11:45 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Walter Reed Convalescent Center for their loving care and support given to Mildred.
