Middle Peninsula Job Fair returns June 2

The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce, Peninsula Worklink, the Virginia Employment Commission and the Gloucester County Public Schools are teaming up to host the second annual Middle Peninsula Job Fair and Expo from 9 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, June 2, at Gloucester High School.

This event is a community-wide initiative throughout the Middle Peninsula and targets job seekers of all ages, including unemployed, under-employed, active reserve military, students entering the workforce, or individuals considering a change in employment, a release stated.

The job fair will provide those job seekers that are newly entering the workforce and those that are looking for career opportunity/growth to speak directly with area employers who are currently hiring. There will also be educational, workforce development and nonprofit organizations with volunteer opportunities and resources available.
