MICHELLE LAURINE WHEELER

Michelle Laurine Wheeler of Hayes, went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2013.

She was a daughter, a sister, a friend, and even better Christian.

I could tell you how she died, but I would rather tell you how she lived.

Despite being chronically ill, Michelle lived a happy life, because she chose to live it that way. Nothing brought her more happiness than caring for others through others.

If the love for her dogs, Honey, Lolly and Polly, were any indication of how she would have been as a parent, she would have been a perfect, wonderful mother.

Michelle left us singing and expressing love for God and her parents. She goes to a place where “there is no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear, no sickness, no pain, and no more parting over there.”

Michelle is survived by her parents, Dean and Arlene Wheeler; her brothers, Dean and David Wheeler; three nieces; six nephews; extended family, and a legacy of faith in God and giving to others.

Father, into your hands we commend her spirit.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 6-7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. at New Hope Independent Baptist Church by Pastor David Seabolt. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to New Hope Independent Baptist Church, 9713 George Washington Memorial Highway, Gloucester, Va. 23061.

Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
