Michelle Alexandra Hanley, 51, of Hayes, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. She was born in Panorama City, California.

She attended Achilles Friends Church, and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Gehling Jr. and Pamela A. Gehling (Stone), and her brother, William H. Gehling III.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Jason James Hanley Sr.; son, Jason James Hanley Jr.; sisters, Heidi Adams, and Melissa Premo; brothers, Timothy Gehling, Shawn Gehling, Steven Baxter, Stewart Baxter, and Matthew Gehling, and a grandson.

The family will receive friends for a funeral service at Achilles Friends Church on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 10 a.m., with a repast to follow. She will be placed in the Niche column at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Va., at 3 p.m.
