MICHAEL DAVIS COLLIER

Michael Davis Collier, 43, of Gloucester, died Jan. 6, 2017.

A longtime resident of Gloucester, Michael was a member of Gloucester High School’s Class of 1991. He furthered his studies at Old Dominion University and the College of William and Mary.

He most recently served as Senior Vice-President of Sales at the Country Vintner in Ashland, and loved to travel for business and with family, and enjoyed the culinary arts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank L. Collier, and father-in-law, Henry Shackelford Jr.

Michael is survived by his wife, Kristen; sons, Ethan and Aidan Collier; mother, Debbie Collier; stepfather, Mark Mitchell; brother, Billy Joe Collier; niece and nephew, Brittany and Brandon Collier; half-brothers, Frank I. Collier, John L. Collier and Jessie L. Collier; brother-in-law, Matt Shackelford and wife Tiina; niece and nephew, Miranda and Alix Shackelford; mother-in-law, Sherry Shackelford, as well as nieces and nephews in Colorado.
