MHS wrestling holds 4-3 team record

The Mathews High School wrestling team currently holds a 4-3 record, according to head coach Josh Schaible.

Undefeated wrestlers on this year’s squad are Alexis Deagle (106 lbs.), Cody Deagle (132 lbs.) and Fabian Cardenas (182 lbs.).

Those three each went 5-0 on Dec. 18 at the Lancaster Duals, taking home gold medals. Taking home silver medals that day were Jacob Love, Jake Brown and Noah Wright.

The MHS wrestlers return from winter break on Wednesday, Jan. 5, when the Devils host teams from Middlesex and Northampton, starting at 5 p.m.
