Following a successful meet last Thursday at King William, the Mathews High School track and field team heads into post-season competition. Individual results have yet to be posted from last week’s meet.

Mathews athletes will compete in the Tidewater District Teams Championship Meet today, beginning at 4 p.m. at West Point High School. If the weather forces the meet to be postponed, the makeup date is Saturday. This would present a possible conflict for the team’s seniors, since MHS graduation is also scheduled for that day.
