MHS to face Middlesex tonight

The Mathews High School varsity football team will be playing Middlesex in a benefit scrimmage game at 7 o’clock tonight at the school’s Ken Brown Field.

Admission is $5 and it will be “T-Shirt Night,” with a free Blue Devils football T-shirt handed out to the first 100 fans entering the stadium, compliments of Noble Pest Control and Cobbs Creek Body Works.

It will be conducted as a real game, but the results will not count toward the teams’ regular season records. ...
