Mathews High School’s students of the month for September are freshman Gavin Patrick, sophomore Haley Hoell, junior Chloe Schaible and senior Alexis Deagle (clockwise from top left). Students are chosen from nominations by a committee of faculty members who evaluate academic standing, attendance, completing work on time, and character. At the end of the school year, a student of the year is awarded at each grade level, chosen from among the monthly winners.
