The Mathews High School Scholastic Bowl team is off to a great start, with a season opening win over Middlesex (320-105) and last Thursday’s home opener against the visiting King William Cavaliers (235-155). The team was scheduled to travel to King and Queen High School on Wednesday, with the next home contest a rematch with Middlesex on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
