Community organizations are invited to participate in the Mathews High School Homecoming Parade, which will be held on Friday, Oct. 11.
The parade begins at 4 p.m., starting at Thomas Hunter Middle School, passing along Church and Main streets and ending at Mathews High School.
Anyone interested in participating in the parade is asked to contact Sara Hogge at MHS (804-725-3702).
Members of the MHS homecoming court will take part in the parade, with the king and queen to be crowned at halftime of the Mathews-West Point football game, which begins at 7 p.m. ...
