The Mathews High School classes of 1997 through 2000 celebrated their 20th class reunion Saturday at the Deltaville Maritime Museum.

More than 65 class members were in attendance from all four class years, as people returned to their hometown from as far away as Indiana, Florida and California.

They spent the day visiting family and walking the streets of Mathews Market Days and celebrated with dancing and fellowship that evening. “Memories were made and memories where shared by all,” said Lindsay Newell, president of the MHS Class of 1999. ...
