Members of the Mathews High School Class of 2023 will be honored at a baccalaureate service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mathews Baptist Church, 8284 Buckley Hall Road, Hudgins.

The Rev. Dr. Marcus Stallworth, pastor of Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church, will offer the message, with a musical offering by the members of the “Press On” Praise Band of Mathews Baptist.

Sunday’s event is being sponsored by the Mathews County Christian Ministerial Association. The MHS graduation will be held the following Saturday, June 10, beginning at 10 a.m. in the school’s Harry M. Ward Auditorium.
