Friday, Dec. 1 is the early registration deadline for the Mathews High School Athletic Boosters’ Grinches Gallop, a 5K and 1-mile fun run/walk, which will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Dec.16 starting and ending at MHS.

The early registration fee is $40, with participants receiving a hoodie. After Dec. 1, they cannot guarantee a hoodie and the fee goes up to $50.

Mail your completed registration form to Brandy Larson at 343 Oakley Pointe Lane, Mathews, Va. 23109 with check made payable to MHS. Forms are available at the MHS office.

Participants are invited to bring unwrapped presents; the MHS Athletic Boosters will wrap them while you gallop for a donation. Enjoy hot chocolate and cider at the finish.
