Mathews High School football alumni will return to the gridiron Saturday night in an Alumni vs. Alumni flag football game at Ken Brown Field. Blue Devil football players from years past will face off against one another, cheered on by alumni cheerleaders.

Kickoff will be at 7 p.m., with a $7 admission at the gate, with proceeds benefitting the MHS football program. Concessions will be available.

Coaching the two squads will be David Anthony and Matt Lawson. Tom Holaday will be the game’s emcee.

Alumni on the Blue team will include Michael Cunningham, Johnathan Matthews, Jalen Matthews, Bill Shears, Reggie Johnson, Chris Davis, Ed Wade, William Turner III, Bubba Love, Noah Lewis, Ross McLaughlin, Colton Greene, Josh Boyer, Jeremy Forrest, Sterling Foster, Ricky Bristow, Brandon Haywood and C.J. Kelly.
