Methodist parsonage construction to begin

Capt. John White delivered a load of bricks at Horn Harbor last Monday for the Methodist parsonage foundation at Susan and he was met by a number of carts at the landing that moved them to the parsonage lot as fast as they could be brought ashore. The lot begins to take on the appearance of business as lumber, lime and brick are being put in place. The ladies are working up an entertainment to be rendered at the Odd Fellows Lodge in the near future to help in the cause. Money is said to be scarce, but that has been the cry ever since I could remember. If the people will all come together and open their hands, hearts and pocket-books the work will go bravely on. –Leumas.
