Marine Corps League Middle Peninsula Detachment #1317 will present “Memories of Elvis” with Michael Hoover on Saturday, June 29, at the Abingdon Ruritan Club, Bena. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Hoover, an award-winning vocalist and entertainer, was featured performer with the Jordanaires on the “Follow That Dream” Caribbean cruise; first-place winner of the international Elvis Impersonator Contest in Memphis, Tennessee; and performed on stage with both Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins.

The show will also include DJ Kevin McCray and retired Screen Actors Guild member Michael Lair, “The Hyco Kid.”
