The Retired Officers of Mathews County Association (ROMCA) held its annual memorabilia dinner on Wednesday, April 13, at American Legion Post 83, Hudgins. The event was catered by Shelly Williams of Mathews. The shared memorabilia included a large number of items; everything from a punji stake to captured Japanese rifles, as well as photos, medals, newspaper clippings and other keepsakes.
