Melissa D. Johnson, PLLC, opened her law office at 6517 Main Street in Gloucester in January. She specializes in estate planning and contract and contractor litigation.

Johnson is a native of Pinehurst, North Carolina, with a business background that includes legal work, accounting and management. She holds a bachelor of science degree in English from the College of William and Mary, and a juris doctor degree from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law.

“Obstacles are opportunities,” said Johnson.
