Meeting planned on starting a business in Mathews

The Mathews County Resources Council will examine the topic “How to Start a Business in Mathews County” at its monthly Zoom meeting next Thursday, June 17. Login starts at 9:05 and the meeting begins at 9:15 a.m.

Thomas Jenkins, director of Mathews County planning, zoning and wetlands, and Jim Carroll of the Hampton Roads Small Business Association, will present information specific to Mathews County, a notice said.

Step-by-step information to start a business will be provided.

Any Mathews resident may join in the meeting by requesting the login information at adlitmidpenva@gmail.com or by calling 804-210-9169.

MCRC is an informational organization serving Mathews County and is made up of agencies, organizations, nonprofits and faith-based groups; the general populace is welcome to join the meeting, the notice said.
