The May Faire Committee will hold an organizational meeting at 4 p.m. Monday in the Mathews Historical Museum, 200 Main Street. The museum sponsors annual May Faire, a festival that always include a historical perspective on county history.

May Faire is planned to be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, on Mathews Court Green and in the museum.

Interested members of the community are invited to attend, a release said. Plans for next year will be outlined and persons “wishing to help produce this wonderful heritage event are welcome to join in and provide input,” said chair Barbara Bass.
