Meeting at library on development of Lands End site

A public meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Gloucester Library in Main Street Center about the Lands End Subdivision/Captain Sinclair Recreation Area on the Severn River waterfront.

The meeting will be an opportunity for the public to share their ideas on the future development of the site, which was recently gifted to the Middle Peninsula Chesapeake Bay Public Access Authority.

Students in the Masters of Urban and Regional Planning program at Virginia Commonwealth University will conduct the meeting, a release said, as they did Sept. 24 at a meeting at the Severn River site. They will also distribute community surveys to those unable to attend the meeting.
