Medical talk to be held June 17

Dr. Sheila Furey of Richmond is scheduled to give a talk at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 17 at the Piankatank Ruritan Club, Hudgins.

According to a release provided by Tricia Stall of Mathews, Furey will discuss “what we have learned in the last two years and what each of us can do to maintain our health. She discusses how she helped her patients and how she continues to advocate and empower her patients with honesty and facts.”

A specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry, Furey has offices in Chesterfield, Richmond and Chester. She is a member of both the Virginia Medical Freedom Alliance and the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance.
