Mean Mary to appear at Flat Iron on Sept. 10

International touring musician Mean Mary will appear at Flat Iron Crossroads in Gloucester at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, as part of her 2022 tour.

This special performance will include songs from her new album, “Portrait of a Woman,” plus old favorites, as well. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with sandwiches from Shore Bites and drinks by the FIX bar. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at flatironcrossroads.com.

All of Mean Mary’s albums, books, and other merchandise will be available for purchase at the show.

Known for her lightning-fast fingers and raw vocal sound, Mean Mary writes songs that travel the genres of roots, bluegrass, blues and folk rock. She will bring her primary strings and any other of her 11 instruments that she can fit into her vehicle. She is also an award-winning songwriter and book author. Her original banjo song, “Iron Horse,” recently received the IMA’s Vox Populi award for best Americana song.
