The Mathews County Resource Council will meet at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad building in Hudgins. David Dustin from the Kids First Foundation in Kilmarnock will speak. The group’s focus is food priorities for the youngest community members; it serves Mathews, Middlesex and the Northern Neck counties.
